Create a new library SCVMM makes it easy to create a new library to allow you to organize your virtual infrastructure or to increase security, which allows you to store virtual machines, virtual hard disks, CD/DVD media/ISO images, and hardware configurations and templates. You can create your library on a separate server for additional space and flexibility. 1. Switch to physical server DC_SRV. 2. In Windows Explorer, browse to C:\, create a new folder and name it New Library. 3. Right-click on the New Library folder, and then click Properties. You can set the properties for the library you are creating here. 4. Click the Sharing tab, and then click Share this folder. 5. Click Permissions. 6. Check the box to Allow Full Control for everyone, and then click OK. You can also restrict permissions here to allow only certain domain users to access the library. 7. Click OK to close the New Library folder properties window. 8. Open the Virtual Machine Manager console. Figure 106 Virtual Machine Manager Administrator Console 9.
